Thankful Thursday – Good Health

I missed last week’s TT because I was a bit down. I wasn’t sure what was wrong with me just that I was so tired and could not sleep. But by Sunday I had landed in the hospital. I was kept overnight for observation – must have been something that was going round.

I’m still not up to my usual level of strength, but I’m back home and I feel much better. So this Thursday, I would really like to thank God for good health. It’s so easy to take it for granted; until you don’t have it.

3-5 He forgives your sins—every one.
He heals your diseases—every one.
He redeems you from hell—saves your life!
He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown.
He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal.
He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence.
(Psalm 103:3, The Message)

  1. That is a BIGGIE to be thankful for. Right now I’m under the weather with allergies, my 13 week old son is congested too and at his school there has been a reported case of H1N1 in the room next to his. Praying you recover quickly!

  2. Sometimes we don’t know how good we have it until it is gone. Health is like that. We all take it for granted, and yet it is such a gift from God. Praising God for the ability to rise up each morning and accomplish so much in His name.

  3. “Health is wealth” is known to all and everyone wants good health. That means no one wants to leave this wealth. So, Let us build a food habit discipline, keep pace with work, rest and or exercise to Achieve good health, The ultimate wealth.
