I can’t believe I’m almost at the end of the 31 Days of Praying for your Husband challenge. When I started, I had no idea the time would run so fast. I took on this challenge even though I don’t have a husband (yet).
However, as I took time out to pray for the man who’s life I intend to share, I began to see some changes. Little yet significant ones which I would have missed had I not been watching.
What I have learnt from this experience can be summed up in one sentence:
Don’t complain, pray!
Praying is the easiest and yet the hardest thing to do – especially when it is praying for a man (or woman) you love who just happens to drive you crazy sometimes. But God expects it and more than that, it makes the difference between whether you react or respond.
Today’s Prayer for your husband
Pray that your husband will surrender his time and talents to the Lord. Pray that his
spiritual gifts will be manifest in his career, at church, and in your home. (Eph. 5:15-16;
1 Cor. 12:4, 7)
